The mission of New Hope Baptist Church is to “know Jesus and make Him known”. The vision of our church is to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make authentic disciples throughout all the nations by means of intentional discipleship and missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and Biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team: Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Bro. David, Minister of Music

Bro. David has been serving at New Hope Baptist Church since the summer of 1993. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the University of South Florida in December of 1993. A graduate of Hardee Senior High School here in Wauchula, David now serves as their chorus teacher.
He has been happily married to his wife, Beth, since June 6, 1998, and their daughter, Addison, was born November 1, 2013. Beth teaches ESE at Zolfo Elementary School in Zolfo Springs, Florida.
David has served the Lord through music ministry in several churches, the first of which was Southside Baptist Church, here in Wauchula, prior to going off to college. David’s love for music flourished as he served on the staff of several churches during his college career, one of which was First Baptist Church of Brandon, Florida, where he met his wife.
What is worship? “Worship is our response (both corporate and personal) to God for who He is and what He has done, expressed in our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions” (Louie Giglio). Bro. David invites you to worship with us during one of our regular worship services. “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord… come, let us bow down in worship… sing to the Lord a new song: sing to the Lord, all the earth… Worship the Lord with gladness” (Psalm 95:1,6; 96:1; 100:1)
